Q1) How do you clean a markerboard?
A1) The best way to remove "ghosting" from your markerboard is to use Ghent's Sparkleen cleaner.
Q2) What is "chalk-in" for chalkboards?
A2) "Chalk-in" is the process of turning a chalk stick on it's side and coloring in the chalkboard. When complete erase the chalk and your surface is ready for use.
Q3) What is the difference between Porcelain and Melamine?
A3) Porcelain is a magnetic writing surface melamine is not.
Q4) Do your boards come with hangers?
A4) Yes, but not with the hanging hardware.
Q5) What kind of glass do you use?
Q6) We use acrylic panels for our Ghent products, and we use tempered glass for our Waddell product line. Both are much safer than traditional glass.
Q7) Can I buy display rails individually?
A7) No, they come in bulk.
Q8) Do marker writings come off clothes, walls, or furniture?
A8) No.
Q9) What kind of chalk is best to use?
A9) Soft chalk because it is mostly calcium.
Q10) How do I remove permanent marker off a markerboard?
A10) First you will color over the marking with a black dry erase marker. Then erase the marking, this will remove most of the permanent marking. Last use Ghent's Sparkleen to remove any remaining residue.
